With more than 100 years of history as the St. Regis, a Starwood luxury hotel, I feel more excited to visit the Siam Kempinski Hotel than when I visit other hotels.

켐핀스키 그룹은 아마 호텔 매니아들 사이에서는 높게 평가되고 있지만 대중적으로는 많이 알려지지 않은, 특히 한국에서는 그렇게 널리 알려지지 않은 브랜드 중 하나입니다. 스타우드 계열의 고급 호텔인 세인트 레지스 만큼 100년이 넘는 오랜 역사를 자랑하는 만큼 시암 켐핀스키 호텔을 방문하는 필자의 기분은 다른 호텔을 방문할 때 보다도 더 두근거렸습니다. 방콕 시내의 중심가인 씨암에서도 대규모 쇼핑몰인 씨암 파라곤 바로 옆에 위치한 특급 호텔인 시암 켐핀스키 호텔을 한번 둘러보도록 하겠습니다.

체크인 카운터에는 직원이 2~3명 항상 대기하고 있습니다. 투숙객들이 많은 것에 비해서 2~3명의 직원이 있어 적어보이기도 하지만, 체크인 할 때에나 체크아웃을 할 때에도 비교적 빠른 처리속도를 보여주고 있습니다.

태국내 뿐만 아니라 해외 고위층 인사들이 주로 찾는 호텔인 만큼 많은 직원들이 로비에서 대기하고 있으며, 필자가 찾아갔던 이 날에도 누군가 오는지 외국인 직원들을 비롯한 여러 직원들이 로비에서 손님을 맞을 준비를 분주하게 하고 있었습니다.

Although it is buffet style, I didn't feel that there are many kinds of food, but you can eat as much as you like on the menu.
